My kid is addicted to cannabis and often turns on me in rage

January 10, 2020 by erfa5t8

I have a 25-year-old child, the younger of two. I believe he is addicted to cannabis, which he says he needs to combat his stress and anxiety. He does not work and has episodes of rage. I help him as much as I can economically without physically handing him money. When I can’t help him, he turns on me. He threatens me, stating things such as: “I do not wish to live any more,” which keeps me awake in the evening. I feel so sad and frightened to enjoy myself because he is so dissatisfied. I am at a loss. I just do not know what to do.
